  I am currently the Head of Model Risk and Governance at Fortitude Re and part of the ERM team. As such I am Fortitude-Re’s Model Risk Officer and run the Model Governance Committee. The role focuses on model risk management, model validation, management reporting, and documentation practices. In my final role, my responsibilities included leadership of the assumptions and experience studies of all product lines along with actuarial governance (assumptions and models). In addition, I worked on a number of reinsurance deals for Equitable including ceding a significant GMXB block to Venerable and ceding part of the Fixed Annuity block to Global Atlantic. Prior to working at Equitable I worked as a consultant with Milliman for 5 years with diverse assignments in life and annuity products, including M&A deals and Demutualizations.
